We are a Christian community of people called together by God's grace. Therefore our doors are open to a wide diversity of persons from all walks of life, from differing theologies, and from multi-cultural backgrounds. We seek to be faithful and fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ through our worship, teaching, fellowship, and service to others. Our denominational affiliation is the Presbyterian Church (USA) and we are part of the regional Riverside Presbytery.
From the very beginning in 1887, the people of Calvary have dedicated time and resources to helping others in Christ's name. From the early days of supporting foreign missionaries and taking on social justice issues like helping emancipated slaves in America, and Native American literacy, at the hearts of Calvary is a focus on being a mission driven church. It is what Jesus commanded us to do. We actively support the Presbyterian World Mission; Hot Meals program, Calvary Clothing Closet, Taking to the Streets, Riverside CROP Hunger Walk; Riverside Habitat for Humanity; and many other ministries. We encourage all members and visitors to get involved in some type of mission project.
Though our sanctuary is built like a formal European Cathedral, we don't have a formal dress code for Sunday worship. Be comfortable! We just want you and your family to come and experience a worship service at Calvary, where God is praised, the Word of God is preached, beautiful music is sung, and monthly communion is shared. Whether you are totally new to the Church experience, or you are returning to Church after some time, know that you are always welcome here at Calvary.

We are meeting for worship in person in our sanctuary every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Masks are no longer required. Parking in the lower lot is free. Calvary Presbyterian Church implemented a Co-Pastor model in June 2015 believing that shared ministry is a more effective model for this time in the life of the church.
We are family-oriented with many generations who love to come together and celebrate our love for the Lord.
