Discussions for the upcoming Valentine Tea which will be on Saturday, February 8, 2025, Marlene Flowers will be talking about an upcoming event called A Taste of Culture, and we will discuss guest speakers past and in the future. The PWP luncheon we host in March will also be a topic to review. It would be nice if everyone could attend since we need their ideas and input. Please join us!

Get out your favorite family recipe! We’ll need sign-ups for 5 pots of chili and 5 different kinds of cornbread. Here’s your chance to shine. Bring your favorite cookie or dessert. A festive night for all. We’ll spend time writing cards to give to the chaplain at RCH to take to folks who are in the hospital during the holidays.

Dear Christmas Elves,
If you have time, please come on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, and help turn Calvary's Sanctuary into its Christmas glory. Lights to put up, trees to decorate, greenery to spread out, bow ribbons needed...all to make Calvary spread Christmas cheer for several weeks. Come at 9:00 a.m. If you have a friend who loves to decorate, bring that friend with you!

Presbyterian Women’s December Christmas Luncheon is on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon in Fellowship Hall. All members of the congregation are invited. There will be a short film called “The Christ Child”, Bingo with prizes, and a Christmas Carols Sing-a-long, as well as a wonderful hot catered lasagna lunch with gluten free options for those of you with diet restrictions. Hot Meals Thanksgiving Dinner is on December 1, 2024, the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We have ten frozen turkeys that need to be cooked. You can pick one up this Sunday after worship to cook. Bring your cooked birds to Copeland Hall kitchen on Saturday, November 30, between 11 AM – 4 PM. We’d appreciate your turkey being cut into serving slices if possible, and pan juices for gravy are a nice addition. If you are bringing cooked turkey, pies or sides, please contact Sandi in the church office or email Robert Spitzer rgspitzer146@gmail.com and let them know.

All are invited and welcome to join together in a church picnic social put on by Calvary’s wonderful Deacons on Sunday, November 10, immediately following worship in the Fellowship Hall. The luncheon will be an expression of our congregations’ gratitude to our co-pastors Erin Thomas and Alfred Graise’s dedication to Calvary’s church family. We are truly fortunate and blessed to have such a great pastoral team guiding us through our physical and spiritual journeys.

In November, we will be honored with Debbie Law and Jerri Rosewald telling about their experiences at the Presbyterian Women Gathering in Saint Louis, Missouri. held this past August. They will share pictures and highlights of their days at the convention.
Also, in November the PW of Redlands will be hosting a luncheon with Cynthia McGuigan the founder of Steps 4 Life as the speaker. She has been awarded many accolades for her work in community service. A formal invitation with more information will be sent out in the coming weeks.
The PW year is just getting started and we are excited to share a variety of projects coming throughout 2024-25. We extend a personal invitation to join us on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for worship, informative presentations, delicious snacks and making new friends.
Everyone is welcome at our gatherings for interesting speakers, yummy snacks, and fun fellowship! Please join us and as always, men are also welcome to attend this event. It’s one you won’t want to miss!
All Saints Sunday is an opportunity to remember and celebrate the saints of the church past and present. We will call out the names of Calvary’s saints who have passed away this past year, ring a bell for each one, and be inspired by their stories, faithfulness, and legacy that leads us forward.
