Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery of Riverside (PWP) are invited to a Spring Luncheon on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9:45 a.m. to Noon in Fellowship Hall. Palm Sunday is April 13, 2025 at 9:45 a.m. in the sanctuary. Come early to the front steps to get your palm fronds and join the processional. We remember Jesus’ very last entry into Jerusalem riding on a young donkey as the crowds cheered.
Maundy Thursday on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary marks Jesus’ final night with his disciples before he is arrested by the Roman authorities. We will offer communion and readings with singing to remember the agonizing last days of Jesus journeying to the cross.
Our church offices will be closed in observance of Good Friday. We will re-open on Monday, April 21, 2025.

In 2025, Calvary Presbyterian Church will continue to fight against the challenges of disease, disaster, displacement and other concerns that leave people hungry. Please join in as we raise funds to help neighbors near and far get the meals they need for today and sustainable food security for tomorrow.
Calvary is organizing a team that will meet Sunday, March 23, 2025. Registration starts at 1:10 p.m. and the Walk starts at 1:30 p.m. We will meet at the First United Methodist Church, 4845 Brockton Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506 and walk to Trinity Lutheran Church and then back to The First United Methodist Church. The Walk route is 2 miles.
If you would like to become a member of the Calvary team or support the 2025 Riverside CROP HUNGER WALK with a monetary donation, please contact Rosie Heath at (951) 818-9448 or email her at misspetuniarh@aol.com. Twenty-five percent of the money raised at Calvary Presbyterian Church will benefit our own Hot Meals Program.

NORTON YOUNGLOVE MEMORIAL SERVICE
Norton Younglove went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2025. He was 95 years old and he and Ardith were long time members (1965). Norton was a high school teacher and then a Riverside Country Supervisor from 1970-1994. An intelligent and kind man, Calvary Presbyterian meant a lot to him and his family. He and Ardith were married for nearly seventy years as of April of this year.
Services will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary with a reception to follow in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome!
