It is our joy to welcome you to Calvary Presbyterian Church where people gather as a faith community to worship God, learn from Jesus’ teaching, be nurtured in their faith walk, encourage one another, serve others in the name of Christ, and share the Good News with the world.
We are in an urban setting in downtown Riverside and are challenged by the great need in our community. We are family-oriented with many generations who love to come together and celebrate our love for the Lord. Our denominational affiliation is the Presbyterian Church (USA), the regional Riverside Presbytery and the Synod of Southern California and Hawaii.
We are Christ-followers and seekers who are mission-driven; striving to live out the Gospel in our everyday lives. Our people donate time and resources work with the homeless, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and other local and national missions. We feel called to help those in need, to encourage them, to feed and clothe them and invite them into fellowship with other Christians, who are engaged in fellowship groups and Bible studies to grow our faith.
